Get Ready for Festival Fun!

The 2021 Virtual Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival

The City of Prattville and the Wilson Pickett Legacy LLC are excited to announce that the Wilson Pickett Music and Arts Festival will return virtually on April 3 at www.wilsonpickettfestival.com. Enjoy all of the great entertainment, artists, and activities of the annual festival from the comfort of your home!

The virtual Artist Village will feature local and regional artists whose original creations you can view and shop online through May 1. We are accepting additional artists through March 19.

A variety of entertainment will be featured throughout the day on April 3, including performances by the Bama Sound, Cameron DuBois, and a concert featuring five fantastic reimaginings of Wilson Pickett Hits. Chef Chérie Bryant will show you how to prepare Wilson’s favorite dishes and you will get a closer look at some of Prattville’s talented artists. You can also get a sneak peek of Prattville resident Margarita Partridge’s upcoming original musical featuring the story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs.

Register for one of the fantastic virtual workshops including a live musical theatre workshop with incredibly talented MUSE founders Alex Lacamoire, Joseph Joubert, and Zane Mark. Younger festival goers can participate in a live cookie decorating workshop and three awesome visual art workshops taught by amazing Prattville artists including a colored pencil workshop, acrylic painting workshop, and watercolor workshop. Participants of the visual art workshops who live in and around Prattville can pick up a free bag containing all of the supplies needed to complete each workshop while supplies last.

Also available to Prattville area children are free bags filled with festival fun that can be picked up starting March 22, while supplies last, at the Cultural Arts Center. If you are too far away to pick up a bag, don’t worry, you can print three festival coloring pages designed by Alabama artist Alaina Hornberger and Alabama State University Visual Art Students.

This project has been made possible in part by grants from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts and a partnership with the Wilson Pickett Legacy LLC.
